Tür öffnet um19:00, Show fängt um 20:00 an. The drag king praxis is a queercollective and stage praxis born in the US in the 1990s. It playswith the performance of masculinity to criticize patriarchy andbinarities and/or find empowerment. This workshop is above all acollective experience of creation and reflection around drag andgender. The workshop is held in English (with possibilities of partlytranslation into french or german) and open to everyone whoexperimented sexism or was oppressed by hegemonic masculinities inany kind of way, and who wanna explore and deconstruct masculinities.(People defining themselves as cishet white endo men shoud reflectabout why they would wanna show up and if it's really their space).Cost of the workshop: open price (suggested 40–60 €, but people withlittle resources are still welcome even if they can't afford thatmuch). You'll be asked to bring some clothes, a foundation matchingyour skin color and cut hair but the make-up will be furnished. Therewill also be an evening of performance on the 29.11. at AHA for theones who feel like going on stage.
